Bean Thinking was established in 1985 to meet the demand in the food service industry for interesting high quality vegetarian products. Based originally in London it expanded into a purpose built factory unit in Cambridgeshire in 1995, which comprises of a preparation room, walk-in freezer, kitchen and warehouse. The company was transformed into Bean Thinking Ltd in January 2005 and continues to expand its range of vegetarian food products. All the vegetarian foods and vegan food products are made from the finest ingredients and do not contain any artificial preservatives or colourings, and all eggs used are free range. The company is quick to emphasise that it is not a mass production operation, which allows for recipes to be “tweaked” to suit specific customer demands and as such makes the food products virtually home-made. All dishes are prepared and finished by hand, giving each dish its own unique quality and home style cooked presentation.

A unique blend of herbs and spices, together with fresh, hand-boned pork and the use of only the finest quality ingredients give these sausages a truly distinctive flavour, making them ‘The Connoisseurs Choice’ among superior sausages. These sausages are free from artificial colours and flavours and have a high lean meat content.

Musks Sausages - based in Newmarket, Suffolk
The recipe for the Newmarket sausage is unchanged since the days of Queen Victoria in 1884. Handmade with care in small batches, the sausages are free from colouring and additives, the very idea of using them being as unthinkable now as it was in James Musk’s day.

Musk’s have been a favourite of the Royal family for generations, having been the proud holder of four Royal Warrants during its history, having recently been granted a Warrant by Her Majesty the Queen. Royal patronage has always been part of the company’s heritage.
