Support for local schools

Central to our company’s ethos is our commitment to the local communities in which we operate. As such, we feel that, as an organisation, we have a key role to play in supporting and developing the children at our local primary and secondary schools. Our involvement enables us to provide educational activities whether in direct support of the wider curriculum or national initiatives, such as the launch of the Apples & Pears season, British Food Fortnight and the Year of Food and Farming, or by more recreational activities such as store tours, quizzes and competitions. Any fundraising undertaken by us goes directly to help support the local schools in each community. This year alone we hope to raise in excess of £2,000.
