Our Soham Store
Situated in the heart of the town, Budgens is truly a local community store. The store represented the first corporate store to be sold to an independent retailer.
Committed to providing our customers with consistently high quality, fresh produce at affordable prices, our offering focuses on local sourcing wherever possible. We aim to provide great service and a warm and welcoming atmosphere that gives you a genuine alternative to the larger supermarkets. With the recent opening of a community police office for Soham within the store, customers are now able to access their neighbourhood policing team on Wednesdays, between 0900-1000 and 1300-1400, Thursdays 0900-1000 and 1300-1400 and on Fridays between 1400-1500 and 1800-1900.
Budgens in Soham is open 7 days a week, Monday to Saturday 0700-2100, and between 1000-1600 on Sunday. The store offers a broad range of fresh foods, including top quality fruit and vegetables, meat & poultry, dairy produce and fresh bread delivered daily from North’s Bakery based at Sawston and Ely. You’ll also find groceries, frozen foods, lunchtime snacks, hot food, electrical goods, newspapers & magazines, CD’s and DVDs, flowers and a selection of wines, beers and spirits, as well as useful services, including bag-packing and carry-to-car-services, e-top up, National Lottery and recycling facilities. We also have a section dedicated to Polish food, in recognition of our large Polish community. We work closely with a number of local suppliers including Musks and Powters Sausages, Bean Thinking Vegetarian Meals, Soham Books, Shropshires, Broadland Wines and Rattlesden Farms Eggs.
